Real Riders, Real Reviews: What Brandon and Louis Are Saying
We could tell you the tees are built for real miles. We would rather let the people wearing them tell you instead.
There are twenty one reviews across the lineup right now. Every one of them is five stars. That is a small number and we are not going to pretend otherwise, but every single one came from someone who paid for the shirt and then went to the trouble of writing about it. Here is what they actually said, grouped by the things people ask us about most.
Fit is the thing people mention first
Almost every review leads with fit, which makes sense. You cannot feel a shirt through a product photo.
Eric Z. gave the most useful version of it, the one we wish every reviewer would write:
I'm 5'11" 198 lbs, and the large fits great! I love the vibe of the Roses and Chrome tee, it fits my look perfectly. Fits great in all the important areas and the material is high quality!
A height, a weight, and a size. If you are close to those numbers, you now know what to order. Danny N. got at the same thing from a different angle:
Bad ass design on a super comfortable shirt it's got the perfect neck size and Fitment on the Arms to make even my dad bod look beastly
The neck is deliberate. It is a ribbed collar that holds its shape instead of going slack after a few washes, which is the first thing that fails on a cheap tee and the first thing you notice at seventy miles an hour.
Michael H. put it more bluntly: These fit so well they are the only t-shirts I own with sleeves.
On the crop, the question is length rather than chest. Jacqueline H. answered it:
Love it, great quality perfect length which is always an issue for me with most crops. Highly recommend.
Heavyweight cotton that still breathes
This is the one people expect us to get wrong. Heavyweight usually means hot. Two riders tested that in the worst possible conditions and reported back.
Brandon H., in a Texas summer:
Just got this one in. Shipping was quick. Once again a great fit. Put it on for work today and the breathable material made the Texas heat bearable. Keeping bringing the best gear. To the last mile. Cheers.
Derek G. went in expecting the opposite and said so:
First impression: shirt felt thick but seemed like good material. had a dope design. Wore it the day it was delivered shirt was very light and breathable despite feeling like think material. Very soft. I run hot so the breathable material was a plus. Definitely recommend their quality shirts!
That gap between how the cotton feels in your hands and how it wears in the heat is the whole reason we chose it.
What happens after the first wash
Anyone can sell you a shirt that looks good once. Gene L. wrote the longest review we have had, and the part worth quoting is about what he expects a year from now:
I've purchased more T-shirts than I can count, from the two-for-$20 shirts all the way up to the high-end, premium brands, and I can honestly say this is one of the highest-quality shirts I've ever purchased. From the feel and construction, to the fit, you can tell this shirt is made to last. I spend a lot of time on the open road, and I can tell from experience that this shirt will stand up to the wear and tear that comes with it.
Savannah L. got to the same place in nine words: Great quality! Very nice graphic that washes well.
The art sits in the fabric rather than on top of it, which is why it survives a wash cycle instead of cracking across the back.
Loud enough, not too loud
There is a line in motorcycle apparel between wearing something you like and wearing a costume. Danny found the words for it:
Such a comfortable shirt, the construction is great. The design is hard-core, but subtle in a way that reflects my love for motorcycles without being too BROTHERRRR
That is the brief, more or less. A small badge up front so the shirt works in a room full of people who do not ride, and the full piece on the back for everyone behind you at the light.
Amy M. reported the other half of it: Im telling you the quality is *chefs kiss*! The graphic is so pretty I got compliments all day.
The ones who came back
The review that matters most is the second one. Frank R.:
Love the t-shirt. Great quality. Great design. Last Mile does not disappoint. This is my second shirt and it will not be the last!!
Louis H. after his first ride in one:
Bought a shirt and just wore it today for the first time. I must say the fit is phenomenal and the graphics are awesome! Shirt is made from tough material, not some thin and flimsy t like you're used to! Will definitely support this business in the future!
And Brandon H. again, on the Built to Last: Great product. Great fit. The shirt stands up to the test of wind and throttle. Gonna buy more for sure.
Read them yourself
Every shirt with a review on it is collected in Rider Reviewed, and the reviews sit on each product page with the photos people sent in. If fit is what is holding you up, the measured size guide lists every cut in inches, taken from the garment laid flat.
